No. Every plan website is custom HTML, built for your business. There are no WordPress themes or plugins to maintain, and updates are handled for you as part of the monthly service.
If you cancel the monthly service before the 12-month initial commitment ends, the website is taken down. After 12 months, you can choose to stay on the plan or cancel. This applies only to Small Business Website Plan sites; custom website projects follow their own terms.
The setup fee, starting at $299 and due before work begins, covers designing and building your website. The $100 monthly fee covers keeping it online and looked after: hosting, SSL, backups, technical support and small monthly updates. Splitting the cost this way keeps the upfront investment low, which is why the plan has a 12-month initial commitment.
Managed hosting, an SSL certificate, backups, technical support and up to 30 minutes per month of small content updates. The monthly service is a required part of this plan, not an optional add-on.
Changes that fit within about 30 minutes: editing text, replacing images you supply, or updating hours, phone numbers and addresses. Unused time does not roll over. New pages, new sections and redesigns are not small updates and are quoted separately.
Anything outside the plan is quoted before it starts and billed on a fee-for-service or hourly basis, as set out in our terms and conditions.
Often, yes. We first review your current site: how many pages it has, what content needs to move and whether redirects are needed to protect what it has earned in search. If it’s a straightforward small business site, it can move to this plan. If it needs advanced features, we’ll recommend the right option instead.
Basic on-page SEO setup is included: page titles, meta descriptions and appropriate structured data. Ongoing SEO campaigns are a separate service. We don’t promise rankings.
Not on this plan. Online stores, memberships, custom integrations and similar features need a separate proposal, usually as a custom website project.
